Bachelor of Nursing (Post Registration)

March, July and November

IELTS/OET - The BN(P) requires an overall minimum IELTS score of 6.0 and no less than 5.5 in each band, OET 2 x B and 2 X C, or equivalent evidence. Preference in selection into the BN (P) is directed to those with evidence of a higher English language score than the minimum listed.

Domestic and international students who are currently registered nurses, equivalent to a Division 1 registered nurse in Australia, and who wish to upgrade their existing qualification from diploma of nursing to degree of nursing. Prospective students will need to be currently registered with the appropriate nursing body, either in Australia or overseas Candidate should complete at least 18 years of age completed.

There are no additional entry requirements to enter this program other than the University Entry Requirements

Semester 1 (February)

IELTS : (Academic) score of 7.0 with no individual band score less than 6.5 or
TOEFL : Paper-based Test: a minimum score of 600 with a score of 6 or better in the Test of Written English; or Computer-based Test: a minimum score of 250 with a score of 6 in essay writing; or Internet-based Test: a minimum score of 96 with no individual score less than 24; or Approved equivalent

Students must be currently registered as the general nurse (based on a three-year nursing qualification) with a recognised nursing authority in another country, and applicants must provide a copy of their current nursing registration.
