The University of South Australia’s Aviation Academy offers a Professional flying training program for future airline pilots. This program was developed to international standards and is the culmination of consultation with domestic and international airlines.
The Commercial Pilot Program is conducted in 2 modules over a period of 54 weeks. The program is predominantly a practical vocational education and training program that relies on the "hands-on" development of the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to become a professional aeroplane pilot and exceeds the requirements of the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplanes) and Command Instrument Rating.

TOEFL overall: 550 paper based 213 computer based
UEC 2 at CELUSA
No formal academic qualifications are specified for entry into the program, however:
• Applicants are required to undergo a medical examination by a CASA approved medical examiner in their country and be issued with an Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority Flight Crew First Class Medical Certificate before they commence the program;
• Students will be required to satisfy the standard of dress and behaviour prescribed by the UniSA Aviation Academy.
