Registration Bridging Program (EPIQN or GCN)

The Registration Bridging Program (EPIQ/GCN ) for overseas qualified Nurses  is  a short 6 month award program in Australia for nurses who have obtained their qualification in countries other than Australia and who are registered in their home country. This is an orientation program for overseas Nurses to get oriented to the health care system and practices in Australia.

This course is a mandatory requirement for the overseas Nurses to get registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and allows them to work as a registered nurse in Australia.

The overseas Nurses who successfully complete the EPIQ/GCN will attain the necessary competencies set by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (ANMAC) National Competency Standards for registration as a Registered Nurse with the APHRA. The program is offered by leading universities like UNISA and Southern Cross University after obtaining a Decision Letter from AHPRA.

  • Course Outcome
  • Upon successful completion of the program nurses are able to gain registration as Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
    1) Can work as a Registered Nurse in Australia
