About Sheridan College

Sheridan College

Established in 1967, Sheridan has grown tremendously in the past five decades and more. From a small local college of 400 students, Sheridan has now expanded to become one of the leading postsecondary institutions in Ontario. Around 24,500 full-time and 18,500 continuing and part-time students are catered to, across three campuses in Oakville, Brampton and Mississauga. Due to its prime location in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Sheridan students are able to get the advantages of easy access to Canada’s biggest urban playground, cultural capital and business centre. The college attracts many overseas students, as well as students across Canada who undertake sought-after programs in the fields of arts, business, community service, health, technology, and the skilled trades. Sheridan offers more than 120 programs across five faculties, including 25 degree programs, and the blend of theory and practical skills helps students to excel in their professional careers.
