Q1. How can I get a nursing registration in Australia?
Ans: If you are an internationally qualified nurse, to obtain registration you need to submit an application to Nursing & Midwifery board of Australia called AHPRA for an eligibility letter. On receiving the eligibility letter you can apply to colleges or University for admission to a bridging program and obtain registration which will enable you to work as a registered nurse in Australia.

Q2. What is the Language requirement to apply to AHPRA?
Ans: You must have IELTS academic of 7 band for listening, reading, writing and speaking and an overall band of not less than 7 band.
Or
You must have OET not less than A or B in all module

Q3. Is it mandatory to have work experience at the time of applying to AHPRA?
Ans: Yes, it is mandatory to have work experience to apply to AHPRA.

Q4. When can I take my family to Australia?
Ans: Your family can join you upon obtaining a job visa, soon after finding a job.

Q5. On which visa will I be attending the bridging program?
Ans: You can attend the bridging program on visa subclass 456 (Business visa) or visa subclass 575 (Student visa) or Visa Subclass 442 (Occupational Trainee Visa)

Q6. What is the processing time for the bridging program?
Ans: The processing time is approximately 4-5 months.
