Speech pathologists assess, diagnose, treat and provide management and advocacy services to people with communication or swallowing disorders.
Graduates practice in hospitals, community health centers, private practice, schools, rehabilitation centers and aged-care centers. Graduates can also work in areas such as health promotion and teaching, and consulting, in communication and presentation. Employment opportunities also exist in specialized centers helping people with a hearing impairment, cerebral palsy and intellectual disability.
The Master of Speech Pathology is accredited by Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). Graduates of the Master of Speech Pathology may apply for membership with the SPA.
IELTS (Academic) score of 7.5 with no individual band score less than 7.
Bachelor degree with 70% aggregate.
